After the Taylor‘s wedding we got to spend a little bit of time doing some fun summer things. The Taylors had a great time on their honeymoon in Hawaii and are looking forward to using some of their wedding gifts like the two person sleeping bag the next time they go camping!
I started a new job at the beginning of August! I will be teaching eighth grade science full-time at Central Middle School. I set up my classroom and got things all ready to go right in the middle of the heat of summer.
It was nice to be able to use the flowers I made for the bridal shower for my classroom.
We still got to do some fun summer things on the weekends though while Ashley and Conute were still in town. We got to do some cousin game time and visiting with family and enjoyed our evenings together even after I went to work.
Ashley brought home her pet. She has the cutest rabbit but it was pretty destructive, ha ha.
Some of the things we got to do work go to the beach with the Oleson‘s, and we were able to take Conute to Disneyland with Ashley. It was his first time going. It was a great day and since there were still limited guests we were able to go on pretty much any ride we want to without the lines being too long!
Ashley was able to take Conute to Los Angeles and watch a taping of America’s got talent, they got to go explore other beaches and Jeff and I brought them both to San Diego one day. We got to go whale watching and eat some good food in old town San Diego.
At the end of their stay they attended Kate Thompson’s wedding where Ashley was a bridesmaid!
After the wedding they headed back up to Idaho to start their real life responsibilities again.
