So this summer we decided to go do an Idaho trip before Jacob graduates and isn’t there anymore. We spent a few days in Idaho Falls, going to the farmers market and visiting with Ashley is it Jacob and Conute whenever they were available. We got to see where Ashley works and meet some of her friends and see Jacob‘s roommates again.
We got to meet Ashley‘s boyfriend in person and took him to a couple meals and went to the aquarium together. He seems very nice and she seems very happy.
I got to go to church in Jacob‘s ward and watch him play the piano.
Fourth of July we went to the fireworks celebration in Idaho Falls. There were a lot of people but it was very spread out and nice and it was a good show.
We also did a few days in Yellowstone together. Yellowstone is beautiful this time of year and we were able to hike, see lots of geothermal features, see lots of waterfalls and enjoy nature.
Before we headed back to Rexburg we got to stay one night in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Ashley, Jacob and I did a hike together and Jeff and I explored downtown. The next morning we did a float down the Snake River before we brought the kids back to Rexburg.
The next time we will see the kids they will be down for the Taylor’s wedding!
