July and Trip to Hawaii 2023

 Since some of Steve's family was down for the California wedding reception we were able to have a family beach day with Steve's family and the Taylor's and Jacob. 

After the whirlwind of wedding planning Jeff and I got to go on a trip to Hawaii. While we were there we spent some time with Jeff's clients and our friends Mark and Tina. We spent a day at the Polynesian Cultural Center, we went on some hikes and enjoyed some good food while we were there. 

Our place was pretty squished but it was OK because we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. We tried to be out and exploring as much as possible. 

My morning routine was to take walks at the end of Waikiki. I enjoyed starting my day out in the beauty of nature. 

It seems like we tend to go to a lot of the same places when we go to Hawaii but we always seem to enjoy our time there and we find a few new places to go to as well. 

One of the new places that we went to during this trip was the Bishop Museum. It was full of culture and history and was more enjoyable than Jeff thought it would be. 

When we got back to town we did a beach day with friends before it was time to go back to school for the year. We also recreated this picture of us at the beach from a beach day in the past. 

We enjoyed having Virginia and Dean with us that day too.
